As I sit down to write today’s blog, half of the United States is in mourning. The other half is celebrating.

The country’s long awaited 47th presidential election is finally over, and like all elections, we have a winner and a loser.

I was going to skip talking about the election this week because I figured we could all use a break, but I have received a number of emails from friends in this community who are grieving the results and asking for healing advice. 

No matter who you voted for or how you are feeling about the results of this election, I offer you the quote below. 

I love the idea that inside every vote is an inner calling that stands for so much more than who wins and loses and offers ways we can all make our world a better place.
